Dylan Windler (left leg) said he is "probably about 70 or 80 percent of the way there" from his January surgery.
“It’s been a little over three months right now and I think the doc’s saying maybe a month or a month and a half before I’m able to play live basketball again,” Windler said. The sharpshooting wing did turn some heads in Las Vegas Summer League in 2019, but his leg injury never healed like the team had hoped and they kept him out for the season. Kevin Porter Jr. was really turning the corner before the NBA stopped, and Windler will likely be way behind him next year. He'll likely be a fringe rotation guy unless the Cavs unload players, which can certainly happen. May 10 3:40 pm (EST)
