2026 Fantasy Baseball Player Profile
Yoshida's 2025 was a lost season defined by injuries and reduced playing time. He played only 55 games and saw his power evaporate.
2026 Outlook: A major bounce-back candidate or a sunk cost. He will need to fight for at-bats at DH, especially with the arrival of Contreras. He is a late-round flier for batting average potential only. Following a 2024 season interrupted by a thumb injury, this second straight year of missed time has raised serious concerns about his durability in the majors. With three years left on his contract, the Red Sox will be desperate to get him healthy, but he may be relegated to a strict platoon role.
