2023 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Expected to take the league by storm in the rotation last year, Miller instead was injured and made it through just 33.1 innings. He has a live arm and hit an average fastball velocity of 98.6% miles per hour, and that can't be ignored.
2024 Outlook: Slated to begin the season as closer could be perfect for Miller. Well, other than the lack of expected save chances. Miller can put his velocity and strong pitch tools to good use in short bursts, but there also might be some growing pains. It certainly helps though that he can get a strikeout when he needs it. It will also be interesting to watch to see if he is moved back into the rotation at any point.
