2023 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Seeing 22.5% of the fly balls Silseth gave up turn into home runs last season certainly was troubling. Control and command were an issue for Silseth as he walked 4.47 batters per nine innings, but he did strikeout over a batter an inning and generating a ground ball rate of 48.9%.
2024 Outlook: The overall body of work was solid, 3.96 ERA, in 52.1 innings (eight starts). I would expect Silseth to settle down a little bit this year, but there are concerns as well.
