2025 Player Outlook
The left-handed hitting shortstop had a bit of a rough go in his first taste of big-league pitching, as he hit just .218 with a .642 OPS and 26.9 percent strikeout rate across 36 games. I'm intrigued by his 8.9 percent barrel rate and 46.8 percent hard hit rate, but the 33.5 percent chase rate and 32.4 percent whiff rate need some work. I have questions about his batting average this season, but in his first full year at the MLB level, he's a low-end power/speed guy who could go 10/10 or 15/10, but a strikeout rate in the mid-to-upper twenties may keep his batting average at or below .240.
