2023 Player Outlook

2023 Recap: Forced to wait in the minors in St. Paul because of the Twins’ corner outfield logjam, Matt Wallner finally got his shot after the All-Star break, and he sure took advantage of it. He hit .249/.370/.507 with 14 home runs and 41 RBIs.

2024 Outlook: Wallner is a classic power hitter that swings hard and strikes out a lot, so his batting average will suffer, but he has enormous raw power that will only get better. If this 26-year-old can keep his whiffs in check, he will hit enough bombs to become the next Twins star.
