2022 Player Outlook

Witt is and has been ready to play for the Royals, but for some unknown, but fully known reasons, he hasn't gotten that chance yet. Regardless, he's a plus bat with a good glove that should immediately slot in at the top half of the Kansas City lineup upon his call up or announcement that he's the team's starting third baseman (or shortstop). Witt has plenty of pop and great speed, and as his career goes on, he'll develop into one of the more reliable power and speed guys in the game. In 62 games at Triple-A last season, he hit 17 home runs and stole 15 bases. He has all the potential in the world, and he should join the 20/10 club as a rookie in 2022. Chase the upside with Witt Jr. in 2022.
