2024 Player Outlook

2023 Recap: Royce Lewis, the Twins No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 amateur draft, has had his major league career interrupted by injuries. He tore his ACL in both 2021 and 2022 which maintained his rookie status in 2023. He returned from the ACL on May 29, 2023, and later missed six weeks with a strained left oblique and the final two weeks of the regular season with a strained left hamstring. Limited to only 58 games last season, Lewis racked up 15 homers (including a franchise-record four grand slams) and 52 RBIs to go along with a .309/.372/.548 slash line.

2024 Outlook: Those are impressive raw numbers, and Fangraphs projects a 27-home run season in 2024 with 89 RBI's, 13 steals and an .819 OPS. Lewis also hit .309 with a .921 OPS and a 150 OPS+. Now these are just projections but if you are a Twins fan you have to be excited about what the future holds for Royce Lewis.
