2023 Player Outlook

2023 Recap: Marte combined for 453 at-bats between Double-A, Triple-A, and MLB in 2023 while posting a .289/.361/.459 slash line with 14 HR, 83 R, 60 RBI, and 24 SB. He's the best prospect for the Reds, and he figures to play just about every day at the hot corner. 

2024 Outlook: He's going to make a lot of hard contact, and as he continues to develop and mature at the dish, hopefully he will begin to loft the ball a bit more, elevating his power floor. A great home park can help play up his power numbers a bit, and fantasy managers should be excited to roster Marte in 2024. There's a bit of a logjam in the Cincinnati outfield to begin the season, but Marte is too good to not put in the lineup, and we could see him join the 15/15 club or maybe even 15/20 club with a .260+ batting average in 2024. Of course, he's so talented, the upside could be even greater.
