2023 Player Outlook
You can't talk about Montero without talking about his strikeouts, 32.4% in 185 plate appearances with Colorado last season, as it ultimately led to his.233 batting average. However, all we really care about is Montero hitting around .245/.250 which should be enough to keep him in the lineup or at least provide him with regular playing time. Montero does bring a good amount of power to the table, and Colorado will likely want to see what they have in him, and if everything breaks right, maybe 20 home runs are possible. Just don't bank on it or draft him expecting it.
