2026 Fantasy Baseball Player Profile

Acquired via trade this offseason to plug holes, Weathers was limited to just 8 starts  last season due to flexor and lat strains. When healthy, he was serviceable, posting a 3.99 ERA, but he couldn't stay on the field enough to make a major impact. 

2026 Outlook: Weathers projects as a swingman or long reliever. He is injury insurance for the rotation but lacks the volume or upside to be a fantasy target. His best path to value is as a bulk reliever following an opener, where he could vulture wins. Otherwise, he is waiver wire fodder.
