2023 Player Outlook
The sixth overall draft pick in the 2018 MLB Draft has had his struggles in his brief tenures at the big league level. He's raked at every level in the minor leagues but has had difficulty transitioning at the biggest level. In 54 games last year, he slashed .141/.221/.313 with seven home runs and five steals with a gaudy 33.7% strikeout rate. Keep in mind, he's still young as he'll turn 24 in July. Steamer actually projects him for 15 home runs and nine steals and that's only a 99-game projection. There's risk but he still carries an elite prospect profile and could be worth a dart throw in the later rounds.
