2022 Player Outlook

A former top 15 pick in the MLB Draft, Grisham strung together a nice campaign where he played 132 games and hit 15 home runs with 13 steals in 2021. He bounced all over the lineup last season, but if he’s locked into the leadoff spot then he has plenty of upside and room for growth in counting stats. He did suffer a heel injury that will be worth monitoring ahead of 2022. After he hurt himself last season he wasn’t quite the same player as he hit .218 after coming off the IL. He is the kind of player that has a 20/20 season in him especially in this lineup. Steamer currently projects him for 21 home runs and 16 steals, but the 87 projected runs scored would be a huge increase from last year.
