2023 Player Outlook
The Twins showed plenty of trust in Jose Miranda when they traded away Gio Urshela earlier this offseason. Urshela was coming off a solid season so Miranda will be stepping into some big shoes to fill but the Twins 2021 Minor League Player of the Year who destroyed the upper minors with a .937 OPS and 30 home runs may be up for the task. He now enters his second season with the big club after breaking in with an impressive slash of .268/.325/.426 and .751 OPS to go along with 15 HR/66 RBIs over 125 games. A ceiling of 20 home runs to go along with 70 RBIs and runs each is fair for Miranda, a sleeper in 2023.
