2022 Player Outlook

Moore played in 126 games for the Mariners last year, and despite hitting just .181, he hit 12 home runs and stole 21 bases (5 CS). A 10.6 percent walk rate boosted his on-base percentage to .276, but he now has three straight seasons with a strikeout rate north of 27 percent. If Seattle commits to playing him everyday, he will be a solid power and speed guy. Yes, the batting average is going to be a problem, but he has a floor of 10-12 home runs and 12-15 stolen bases. With regular time, he could push to join the 15/20 club, but that batting average is a massive liability.
