2022 Player Outlook
Gordon never boasted overpowering home run totals in the minors, and his four home runs in 73 games last year is on par with his numbers from the minors. Gordon is excellent on the base paths, which carried over from the minors. He went 10-for-11 in stolen base attempts in 2021 and boasted an impressive average exit velocity of 91.2 miles per hour. Is Gordon going to get enough playing time to warrant fantasy owners' attention? That's the big question. The Minnesota infield is pretty set at the moment, meaning Gordon will need an injury to start counting stats. He is off the radar in draft season, but should anything happen to a Minnesota middle infielder (or outfielder), Gordon will be a hot commodity for stolen bases.
