2022 Player Outlook
The former third overall pick in the 2015 MLB Draft finally got his first taste of a full season at the big league level. In 102 games and 415 plate appearances he hit 15 home runs to the tune of a .285/.328/.470 slash line. He’s not a great player to target in OBP leagues because his plate discipline isn’t that great. He had just a 4.6% walk rate and a 20.2% strikeout rate, but he gets the benefit of the doubt since he’s still young. If he plays a full season he has the ability to hit 20+ home runs in Coors Field and he could be a decent source of runs. He’s currently being drafted just outside the top 150 players.
