2022 Player Outlook
Alberto his .270 last season, but outside of the batting average, the fantasy implications were minimal. He didn't run much, despite being on a team that loves to run, and he hit just two home runs. Despite hitting .270, his OBP of .291 speaks volumes. Los Angeles will likely utilize Alberto in some sort of platoon, as the majority of his at-bats should come against southpaws, as he hit .286 against lefties last year. The Los Angeles supporting cast should help his counting stats when he's in the lineup, but he's largely a one trick pony that won't give you much outside of his batting average. He hit 12 home runs as a full time player in Camden Yards back in 2019, but the home runs haven't been there since.
