2022 Player Outlook
Heaney had a horrendous season in 2021 between the Yankees and Angels. He had a 5.83 ERA and gave up 29 home runs in just under 130 innings of work. However, his strikeout numbers (10.41 K/9) and walk numbers (2.85 BB/9) were decent enough for the Dodgers to give him $8.5 million. 2022 could be a challenge for him given the ballparks he’ll be playing in for the NL West. Keeping the ball in the park will be a goal for him, but he should post a far better ERA in 2022 and he could log 10-12 wins.
