2023 Player Outlook
Longoria will start the season as the DH for Arizona, but as Josh Rojas moves around the field, he could see some playing time at third base as well. Staying healthy will be critical for Longoria who hit 14 home runs in 89 games last season while hitting .244. It was concerning to see his strikeout rate pop up to 27.9%, and while there is still some pop in his bat, the veteran is removed from his prime.
