2023 Player Outlook

It’s been a rough couple of years for Ozuna, on and off the field. His struggles in his personal life have bled into his performance, or lack thereof, on the field, especially this past year. He slashed .226/.274/.413 which is arguably the worst triple slash of his career. The power was still there with 23 homers and equal numbers (56) of runs and RBI. The problem is he hit one home run against lefties and a .200 AVG. The only reason he’s likely not set for a platoon role is because of the lack of data on the bench of the Braves heading into the season. Overall, even if he improves his average into the .240s, the 18-20 homers he’ll hit won’t bring enough value to make him anything more than a flier option late in drafts.
