2023 Player Outlook
Gonzales may not gain the notoriety that the previous four pitchers do. Castillo, Gilbert, Ray, and Kirby are all SP1/SP2 caliber pitchers so Gonzales finds himself at the back of the rotation, but he's still a fine pitcher. He's posted double-digit wins in each of the last five seasons with the exception of 2020 (shortened due to COVID) and he likely goes out and pitches to a 4.00 ERA. He's not an elite strikeout pitcher, but he's a good streamer that eats innings and might steal you a win in your matchup.
