2022 Player Outlook

A hamstring strain put La Stella on the bench for about three months last season and he had an achilles injury that he played through during the playoffs. It wasn’t the best season for La Stella by any means. He only hit .250 with seven home runs and missing three months didn’t help him by any means. Heading into 2022, the achilles injury he had surgery on is worth keeping an eye on. It doesn’t sound like he’ll be at full health during Spring Training, but they’ll gradually try to ramp up his productivity leading up to Opening Day. If he’s good to go, then he has appeal as a leadoff hitter and you hope he can return to being the .270-.280 type of player we know he can be.
