2022 Player Outlook

Graveman enjoyed a solid season last year, splitting his time between Seattle and Houston and posting an overall 1.77 ERA with 61 strikeouts over 56 innings. In fact, his 9.60 K/9 was a career best, something he can attribute to an increase in velocity and a change in his pitch-mix as he stopped throwing his cutter and phased out both his curve and change-up. Those numbers landed him a pre-lockout, three-year deal with the White Sox in the offseason where he will continue to work out of the bullpen and share the high-leverage righthander duties with Craig Kimbrel. Fantasy-wise, there's not much here without an injury to either Kimbrel or Hendriks.
