2022 Player Outlook
Chacin wasn’t terrible in 2021. He was given another one-year contract in the offseason following a year where he had a 4.34 ERA and 17 holds. He was significantly better at home (2.87 ERA) compared to the road (5.73 ERA). Chacin will likely be playing the role of set-up man in 2022 once again so don’t expect too much from him. He has some appeal in Saves + Holds formats, but his strikeout numbers aren’t nearly as appealing as Bard’s.
