2022 Player Outlook
Not quite the ROI the Nationals have hoped to get out of Patrick Corbin over these past two seasons with the lefty stumbling since his fantastic first season with the club back in 2019. In 2021 Corbin lead the league in losses with 16 while pitching to a 5.82 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP. His 7.5 K/9 was his lowest since his rookie season and his 3.1 BB/9 was his second worst mark of his career. Now 32 and playing for what is likely a cellar dweller in the National League this season it seems unlikely that Corbin becomes and sort of fantasy asset unless he is moved to a contending team and gets a spark.
