Nathan Eovaldi fired six scoreless innings to help the Red Sox to an 8-0 win over the Orioles on Wednesday.

The Red Sox haven't had much go right in 2020 -- much of that being their doing, did you hear they traded Mookie Betts? -- but Eovaldi's last four starts have been a rare positive this summer. He did allow seven hits in the contest, but he was able to strike out eight to keep the Orioles from crossing the plate while issuing just a walk. In those last four outings, the right-hander has allowed just two runs in 21 innings, and he hasn't given up anything in his last two starts. Eovaldi ends his 2020 season with an ERA of 3.72 with a 52/7 K/BB ratio in nine starts. Depending on what the Red Sox do in the offseason, he could be the Opening Day starter for Boston to open 2021.  Sep 23 10:37 pm (EST)
