2023 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Stewart filled the role of fourth outfielder last year for the injury-riddled Mets playing 56 games. In that span he hit 11 HR, drove in 26 and scored 21 while hitting .244/.333/.506. After coming up with Baltimore and playing parts of a few seasons with the Orioles, he transitioned well to the Big Apple.
2024 Outlook: This year Stewart will play DH and fourth outfielder for the Mets. Considering the injury concerns with a few of their starting outfielders, it’s easy to envision Stewart getting about twice as many at bats in 2023. He’s really nothing more than a fill-in bat for fantasy baseball in case you need a utility or outfield hole filled but don’t expect too much in the way of stats or slash line help.
