We have four games on Thursday’s WNBA DFS slate, and while five teams have clinched a playoff spot and three have been eliminated, most of the eight teams in action still have a lot to play for. The Sparks would stay at least one game against of the Sky for eighth place with a win, and would move within half a game of Atlanta, currently in sixth place. Washington is tied with Atlanta at 17-20, but they could take the sixth seed, at least temporarily, with a win over Phoenix. Chicago would be all but eliminated if they cannot win at Indiana. New York and Dallas have both clinched playoff spots but are fighting for seeding. A seventh consecutive win would move the Liberty within one game of Las Vegas for the top spot in the standings. If Dallas wins, they would move two games against of Minnesota for the fourth seed and would give themselves an excellent chance of hosting their first-round series.

WNBA DFS Picks September 5

Guards

Victoria ViviansINDCHI460012.88430012.86
You can pivot to Grace Berger if Berger gets the start, but Vivans has been better per-minute. Vivians has averaged 23.6 minutes and 18.4 fantasy points in 11 starts and she had 22.25 fantasy points in 26 minutes off the bench Sunday. Both marks were significantly better than Berger. I think I'm playing Vivians either way, but she is a great play if she starts.
Moriah JeffersonPHOWAS810020.05670020.07
Jefferson has scored at least 31.5 fantasy points in three of her last four games. She isn't super safe, especially in a tough matchup, but someone has to score for Phoenix amidst all the injuries.
Layshia ClarendonLACON670020.27560019.62
All five Sparks starters played at least 31 minutes last game. Clarendon is the cheapest of those starters and they have averaged 26.8 fantasy points in their last three games. They are playable either way, but they're probably safer if Nneka Ogwumike is out again.
Sabrina IonescuNYDAL960035.71750033.77
It makes me a little nervous paying so much more someone who missed back-to-back games with a calf injury, but considering she had scored 30.5 fantasy points in five straight games, I think she'll pick up where she left off. This is her cheapest price on DraftKings since the All-Star break and she averaged 41.0 fantasy points in two games against Dallas this season.
Marina MabreyCHIIND860026.94630025.59
All three starting Sky guards were on this list at one point, but Mabrey has been the best in this matchup, averaging 40.2 fantasy points in three games. She has averaged 29.45 fantasy points in her last five games and we just need her to repeat that production at this price.

Dearica HambyLACON660020.03570019.98
The Sparks play early Tuesday so we should know Nneka Ogwumike's status before tipoff, though it may not be much before. Dearica Hamby has been just as good as Azura Stevens as a starter but Hamby is much cheaper on DraftKings.
Aliyah BostonINDCHI1050033.55800034.42
The top-tier players on both sites have tough matchups, and Boston could easily wind up the most expensive player in my lineup, especially on FanDuel. Chicago is 11th in fantasy points allowed to fowards ans Boston has scored at least 43.25 fantasy points in each of her last two games.
Kadiatou SissokoPHOWAS40003.5636003.34
Sissoko has averaged 14.7 minutes and 10.92 fantasy points in her last three games. With Diana Taurasi and Sophie Cunningham out again, we have a chance to get decent production from a dirt-cheap forward.
Breanna StewartNYDAL1150047.18980047.79
If I'm paying up for a forward, I'm going all the way up. Stewart has averaged 54.8 fantasy points in her last four games and 49.1 fantasy points in two games against Dallas. Nobody on the slate offers that kind of consistency.
Olivia Nelson-OdodaCONLA570011.57430012.23
She is averaging 24.1 minutes and 20.3 fantasy points in her last three games. As Connecticut prepares for the playoffs, they have no reason to push their starters. If anything Nelson-Ododa could play even more down the stretch.

Elena Delle DonneWASPHO830030.48720030.57
Delle Donne played 29 minutes Sunday, her most since June. She has at least 26 fantasy points in three of her last four games, which is plenty at her price. Washington still hasn't clinched a playoff spot, and Delle Donne could play 30+ minutes in this game.
