World Cup 2022 DFS Playbook November 24: Brazil, Uruguay and Portugal Top the Slate
Thursday’s World Cup DFS slate is noteworthy because it is our last time in this World Cup trying to guess at what these teams are. On Friday we get the second games for Groups A and B, so we are finally able to react to what we witnessed early in the week. Thursday’s games feature three big favorites, in Brazil, Portugal and Uruguay. Unlike Wednesday’s slate, I don’t see a lot of value in going away from those top teams, though if this first week of group play has taught us anything, it is to always be prepared for a surprise out of nowhere.

| This is a lot to pay for a keeper when I don't entirely trust his defense. That being said, Costa has conceded just three goals and kept four clean sheets in seven starts for Portugal. Opponents have converted just 15 of 26 penalties against Costa so there is a chance for some bonus points if Portugal concedes a penalty. | ||||||

| I think most fantasy players, if they use anyone from Ghana, will gravitate towards Jordan Ayew due to his name recognition, and I don't hate that call. | It looks like Valverde will be on set pieces for Uruguay, and South Korea struggles to defend crosses and track runners into the box. Valverde looks like one of the players best positioned to take advantage of that. | ||||||

| Daniel Amartey is one of just two players to play all eight games under manager Otto Addo, so if you are not sure if you'll be able to adjust your lineups before kickoff, feel free to pivot. That being said, Salisu is a proven commodity in the Premier League and I think both center backs should get a lot of clearances and tackles in this matchup. | ||||||
