Wednesday's two-game NHL DFS slate is loaded with top-tier scorers as the conference semifinals of the 2023 NHL Stanley Cup playoffs continue. If the Toronto Maple Leafs are going to avoid being swept today by the Florida Panthers, they will need to finally get goals from Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, John Tavares, or William Nylander. The Edmonton Oilers will need to continue to get production from Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl if they are going to avoid being put on the brink of elimination by the Vegas Golden Knights tonight in Edmonton. These should be two exciting matchups for our NHL DFS lineups today. DFS Lineup Construction Thoughts

The key to winning with this combination of games is going to be a mix of picking the teams that score goals, and getting the right combination of Vegas defencemen. Vegas' defense consistently blocks shots and provides value. We saw Brayden McNabb, Shea Theodore, Alec Martinez, and Zach Whitecloud get to value, and Alex Pietrangelo getting close. So if you go with the two of the inexpensive players like McNabb and Whitecloud you now have the salary space to take some combination of Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Jack Eichel, or Matthew Tkachuk.

Favorite Goalies to Use for DFS Lineups

Sergei Bobrovsky, G, Florida Panthers

The Bobrovsky renaissance continues, and tonight he needs to beat a rookie goalie making his playoff debut to book the Panthers a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Stuart Skinner, G, Edmonton Oilers

When Skinner plays well, the Oilers win, when he doesn't they don't. It has been as simple as that so far in these playoffs. The Oilers are going to need him to play better today, and from a DFS perspective, he is likely to face the most shots so if he does play well he is also most likely to provide the highest score amongst goalies.

Joseph Woll, G, Toronto Maple Leafs

With how Toronto has played in this series it is hard for me to imagine that they don't win one game. Woll hasn't been great in his two relief appearances in this playoff, but starting a game and coming in partway are different mindsets. Toronto will need a hero if only for one day, and Woll could be that guy.

Favorite Skaters to Use for DFS Lineups

Connor McDavid, C, Edmonton Oilers

There is no safer player in DFS hockey than McDavid. He has the highest floor and the highest ceiling. The Oilers need the win and I am looking for the best player in hockey to have a big night at home. If you're going to pay up for a player, he should be the guy.

Anthony Duclair, W, Florida Panthers

Duclair has points in four of his last five games and is playing on the Panthers' top line with Aleksander Barkov. It was just last year that he was a 30-goal scorer, so he is certainly capable of putting up points. He is a player who could easily be the best value play of the night.

Jonathan Marchessault, W, Vegas Golden Knights

No one has put more shots on goal over the last week than Marchessault, and he was finally rewarded for it in his last game with two goals. His price isn't overly high, and we know that Edmonton's goalies can be unpredictable so I would stick with him again today knowing the floor is there and if things break right the ceiling could be too.

Evan Bouchard, D, Edmonton Oilers

How Bouchard's price remains this low is beyond me. He leads all defencemen in scoring over the last two weeks and is on one of the most potent powerplays in all of hockey. He doesn't have the floor that other players have, but his ceiling is as high as anyone who plays defense on today's slate.
