🔥 Colorado Avalanche vs. Minnesota Wild Prediction

The old saying in the NHL playoffs goes like this, you haven't lost the series until you lose at home and that's what I am holding onto for the Minnesota Wild's hopes as they head into game three down two games to none. 

We haven't seen these two teams since Tuesday which is could shake things up and I am looking at the Wild making their push at long last. They continue to hold their own at even strength as in last game they had an expected goal total of 1.65 compared to Colorado's 0.93. This is important but also Minnesota has to stay out of the box as the Avalanche are 3 for 7 on the powerplay in this series and are 22.2% for the playoffs. The Wild were the 7th least penalized team in the league this season, things are going to balance out as well you'd think. 

I also expect the return of Jesper Wallstedt to the net for the Wild as outside of game one he's been serviceable with a 2.83 GAA and .903 SV%. Its time for things to balance out in this series, go Wild and take them on the Money Line.
