NHL Best Bets & DFS Cheat Sheet, 11/7: Picks, Predictions & Player Props
Published: Nov 07, 2025
Welcome to the Fantasy Alarm NHL Playbook. This is your one-stop shop for everything DFS related for tonight's four-game slate. We don’t have a ton of options to choose from, so every player we do target becomes that much more important. Let’s dive into the action and see which names we need to keep an eye on.
For the NHL Bets, we are slowly gathering some data. It’s still a small sample size, so again, don’t blow your (bankroll) load in the first few weeks of action. We got a whole year together, so let’s get to work. You can get every expert pick, including mine, right here.

Minnesota Wild vs New York Islanders Prediction
It’s no secret that the Minnesota Wild are a bad hockey team. They can score goals on the power play, but when it comes to killing penalties, it’s a problem. They are playing the tail end of a back-to-back, and it wasn’t pretty. The only reason that game was close was because Frederik Andersen couldn’t stop a beach ball. I know the Islanders aren’t elite on the power play, but there is so much value, we have to pick someone. Let’s take Bo Horvat to get one power-play point tonight. Of his 15 points, 5 have come with the man advantage.Â
- Bo Horvat 1+ PPP (+230 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Winnipeg Jets vs San Jose Sharks Prediction
The San Jose Sharks may end up being a lottery team again this season, but at least they are fun to watch. They are scoring goals despite the limited quality chances, but Macklin Celebrini doesn’t need much to find the back of the net. He’s tied for the most points in the league (21) and has a decent matchup against the Jets. Winnipeg has struggled to defend this season, but you wouldn’t know because of how elite Connor Hellebuyck has been. Celebrini has 9 assists in the last 8 games and 13 in 14 games. Look for him to add another to his total.
- Macklin Celebrini 1+ Assist (-110 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Today's NHL DFS Cheat Sheet & Stacks
Â
Goalie of The Day: Jonathan Quick - NYR
I know it’s hard to trust the New York Rangers, but at least they are on the road, where they can score goals. Jonathan Quick has been excellent so far this season, sporting a 1.35 GAA and a .941 SV%. Those numbers won’t last all year, but his defence is good, and the Red Wings aren’t elite when it comes to scoring goals. This game should be a low-scoring event, which is great for Quick.
Â
Player of The Day: Macklin Celebrini - SJ
Macklin Celebrini is slowly becoming matchup-proof in DFS. He’s averaging 16.3 fantasy points on DraftKings, yet he’s priced at $7500, which is too low for his production. This might feel like a tough matchup for the kid, but the only thing that can slow him down is Hellebuyck. I’ll take my chances, and so should you.
Â
Value Play of The Day: Emil Heineman - NYI
Emil Heineman is skating on the top line, but his ice time is hovering around 13 minutes a night. It’s not great, but at $3500 on DK against a team playing their second game in as many nights, I’ll take it. He has 5 goals and 8 points on the season and can hit the net with his shot. He’s a good single-bullet option in a GPP.
