And here we go, ready to begin our research and make some top NFL DFS Week 5 picks! The Fantasy Alarm team has found a really nice groover through the first four weeks of the season and already, there's a buzz about how we are all feeling about the Week 5 match-ups. The NFL injury news has been abundant, but that just means we're expecting some really nice value to open up, especially with the DFS sites releasing their pricing before the Monday Night Football games finished. Before we check in on how last week's DFS Playbook fared, you might notice a certain tight end on the cover of this week's DFS Watch List. I have no issues admitting when I'm wrong on a player and last week I dismissed grabbing Darren Waller off your waiver wire and stashing him on your bench. Turns out, he's got some really strong value right now. I know this is a DFS article, so we can spin it there and say that no matter how much you dislike a player, there is always a situation where value can be attained and for this piece, it's using him as one of your NFL DFS Week 5 picks.  We'll discuss the match-up in greater depth, but the point is to never dismiss a player unless you are 100-percent certain he's not going to work out for you. And even then, you should probably still consider him if the situation does change. Waller's situation is certainly different with Miami's loss of Tyreek Hill. 

But I digress. Let's keep moving forward, but again, before hopping into our NFL DFS Week 5 picks, I always like to post the optimal lineups from the previous week's DFS Playbook. It's good to see our hits, but it also helps us understand where we fell short and how best to adjust our lineup construction. Contest selection is also a big thing but we'll save that lecture for another time.
