The Seahawks are no strangers to prime-time games this year, nor are they strangers to these coast-to-coast clashes. They’ve already taken down the Pittsburgh Steelers in PA, and with head coach Mike Macdonald being a former defensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens, this will be a Maryland homecoming for him.

Speaking of homecomings, Jayden Daniels is certainly a consideration for our Underdog NFL free picks given his expected return - he was a full practice participant on Wednesday. However, the Seahawks' defense is not only fantastic overall, but particularly great against the pass. With Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown missing, that will put plenty of pressure on Deebo Samuel.

With more pressure comes more targets, and the expected return of Jayden Daniels is perfect news for that. Admittedly, the Seahawks defense presents challenges here, but it’s why we’re going with receptions rather than yards.

Seattle’s pass defense has been so strong thanks to being able to get pressure without having to blitz, but it’s still where Washington is going to need to attack them. The Seahawks have the second-best EPA per rush and have allowed the absolute fewest rushing yards per game, so we immediately want to focus our Underdog NFL free picks on the passing game.

The “pick your poison” scenario between Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet gives fantasy managers nightmares, but it’s time for the Michigan State product to show off his yards per carry superiority.

It was Charbonnet who scored TWICE when the Seahawks last took the field. However, KWIII still had more carries in that game; he has more on the season, AND his 4.5 yards per carry is far more impressive than Charbonnet’s 2.8 per carry. We know that Washington is going to be focusing on Jaxon Smith-Njigba, especially with how weak their pass defense is as well.
