When looking at guys for your daily fantasy football lineups, you grow fond of many NFL player props in the process. As we are now four weeks through the regular season, there are some trends that we can exploit in both NFL DFS and when selecting player props on Underdog Fantasy. For example, the Houston Texans can’t stop the run, and the Arizona Cardinals get picked apart by good tight ends. The first three player props listed below are my favorite picks of the week, but I also included two other leans that I really like, in case you want to go for gold with a big five pick slip. Here are my favorite NFL player props and plays of the day on Underdog Fantasy for Week 5 of the NFL season.

James Robinson OVER 64.5 Rushing Yards

Austin Ekeler, Khalil Herbert, Javonte Williams and Jonathan Taylor all went for 60+ rushing yards against this Houston defense when they got at least 13 carries. Robinson has at least 13 carries in two games this year, and he has 64 and 100 yards in those contests. This Houston rush defense can’t stop a nosebleed and they have allowed the most yards on the ground to running backs this season, not to mention a crazy 5.04 yards per carry! Death, taxes, and running backs against Houston.

Joe Burrow OVER 272.5 Passing Yards

What Houston has been to opposing running backs this year is ultimately what Baltimore has been to opposing quarterbacks this season. The Ravens have allowed the passing yards in the league this season, and since they do have seven interceptions, you can say that this squad is rather opportunistic. Burrow has exceeded this line in three of four games this season, and do you remember what Burrow did to this defense last season? If you don’t, let me remind you: 416 yards and three touchdowns in October, and then the day after Christmas, he threw for 525 yards and four touchdowns. Take the over here, as this could be a coming out party for the Cincinnati pass attack.

Dallas Goedert OVER 46.5 Receiving Yards

I like the majority of this Philadelphia pass attack today, highlighted by Dallas Goedert and DeVonta Smith, which you’ll see below. Arizona has been incredibly generous to opposing tight ends this season, as they have allowed the second-most fantasy points per game through the first four weeks, as well as tied for the third-most receptions (tied), second most targets (tied), and second-most receiving yards. Goedert may not have a big time target share, but his targets are oftentimes downfield a good bit, and he has at least 60 receiving yards in all but one game this season. Trust the matchup, and take the over.
