As always, we have our main waiver article that covers every position at the surface level. But Fantasy Alarm members often play in deep leagues that require additional levels of research and nuance. That’s where this article comes in. We take things a step further to look at those deep streamers you might need to keep your team afloat. And we also look at the top stashes who might not be able to help us right now, but could contribute to a championship down the road!

Best Fantasy Football Streamers and Stashes For Week 12

What is a Streamer?

A streamer is a player that you can actually start in your lineup currently. They might not be the flashiest players, but they won’t get you a zero. In deeper leagues with a lot of starting spots, you may need to call on them from time to time - especially when bye weeks and injuries come around.

What is a Stash?

The stashes are players that have appealing upside for one reason or another, but aren’t reliable guys you can start now. Maybe they are injured, and you can put them in an IR spot. Maybe they are handcuffs that could have a big upside if the starter gets hurt. Maybe they are rookies who need time to develop and carve out a role. Whatever it is, we want to keep an eye on them. And stash them on deep benches.

NFL Week 12 Quarterback Streamers

Jacoby Brissett  - Arizona Cardinals Yahoo: 34% | ESPN: 24% | Sleeper: 22%

Brissett continues to be our top waiver add and top stream at the tight end position, as we laid out in the main article. He proved to us this week that he doesn’t need Marvin Harrison Jr to put up big fantasy numbers. He’s put up 23 or more points in all five of his starts so far.

Trevor Lawrence - Jacksonville Jaguars Yahoo: 42% | ESPN: 25% | Sleeper: 35%

The quarterback streaming landscape is about as bleak as I have ever seen this week. There have been a ton of bye weeks, which have seen more QBs rostered in general than we usually see. Then we have a combination of bye weeks this week and injuries to starters that leave us with some fairly gross options. Trevor Lawrence could be operating without some key weapons here, but he offers a decent floor as an actual starting NFL QB. Not to mention, he’s been willing to run at least five times in each of his last three games, so maybe we get more of that here.

NFL Week 12 Quarterback Stashes

Bryce Young - Carolina Panthers Yahoo: 13% | ESPN: 8% | Sleeper: 16%

We’ve been tricked before into thinking that maybe Bryce Young has “turned the corner”. So we aren’t going to just throw him right into lineups. But he just had an incredibly impressive day with 448 yards and 3 touchdowns against a tough Falcons secondary. So why not st

Shedeur Sanders - Cleveland Browns Yahoo: 2% | ESPN: 2% | Sleeper: 5%

Sanders has been mentioned here mostly for superflex or similar two-QB type leagues. But he’s actually going to get his first start this week, where he is prepared as the starter all week. We aren’t expecting much, but it is against the Raiders, which should give him a chance to impress if he’s any good. So sure, why not take a look at a complete mystery box for one game?

NFL Week 12 Running Back Streamers

Tyjae Spears - Tennessee Titans, Yahoo: 38% | ESPN: 6% | Sleeper: 55%

If one of Josh Jacobs (Emanuel Wilson) or Jaylen Warren (Kenneth Gainwell) is out for this week, then those are our top streamers. Otherwise, we need to look elsewhere. In full PPR, we are looking at Tyjae Spears. He plays a lot in negative game scripts as the pass-down back. And these Titans are almost always playing from behind. That has seen Spears catch a minimum of three passes in every single game since he returned from injury - and five this past week. With Calvin Ridley suffering a season-ending injury, they are running out of pass-catchers quickly.

Devin Singletary - New York Giants, Yahoo: 21% | ESPN: 33% | Sleeper: 44%

Cam Skattebo had taken over the full job by the time he got hurt. And, after his injury, Tyrone Tracy has gotten the start. But there is one aspect where Tracy has not been utilized, which is short-yardage work. Since Skattebo got hurt, Devin Singletary has gotten every short-yardage opportunity, which has included goal-line. We mentioned him as an honorable mention option in this article last week in standard or half PPR, and if anyone used him, they were rewarded with a couple of touchdowns. And that’s really what we are doing here - fishing for a cheap touchdown.

NFL Week 12 Running Back Stashes

Bhayshul Tuten - Jacksonville Jaguars, Yahoo: 30% | ESPN: 19% | Sleeper: 23%

Maybe rookie Bhayshul Tuten flew a little too close to the sun here. He was having an incredible day before rolling his ankle. And we don’t know the extent of that injury just yet. But we do know that Tuten was pretty much splitting the early down carries with Travis Etienne and ripping off big plays this week. That has to move him to the top of our stashes list as a guy that is threatening to take over the early down job outright - just like Bucky Irving did for Liam Coen last year in

Brian Robinson - San Francisco 49ersYahoo: 28%| ESPN: 23% | Sleeper: 38%

Brian Robinson has quietly been carving out a little workload of his own here - and he’s looked pretty good doing it. He’s gotten eight carries in each of the last two games. With Christian McCaffrey operating as a de facto wide receiver, it makes sense to maybe take some of the bruising rushing work off his shoulders. And, if anything happens to CMC, Brian Robinson would likely be a league winner. So he’s as good a stash as any.

Tank Bigsby - Philadelphia EaglesYahoo: 21%| ESPN: 21% | Sleeper: 16%

There’s no guarantee that Tank Bigsby gets the full role if something were to happen to Saquon Barkley. But he has flashed when he’s gotten the opportunity. We are looking for the players behind the big dogs in case the worst happens, and that’s what Bigsby represents. If you have Barkley and are locked into the playoffs, you should probably have Bigsby too.

NFL Week 12 Wide Receiver Streamers

Christian Watson - Green Bay Packers Yahoo: 35% | ESPN: 10% | Sleeper: 37%

He’ll probably end up being added in a decent number of leagues, so you may need to pay up here. But Christian Watson fits the bill pretty perfectly for what we look for in a streamer. He’s a full-time player right now for Green Bay. He runs high aDot routes and typically gets a shot at a chunk play or two. He’s a redzone threat, as we saw this last week. And he has a pretty decent matchup. Tucker Kraft is done, and we don’t know when Jayden Reed will be back, so he’s a pretty good pick-up in general. And he’s our top streaming option if Alec Pierce from the main article isn’t out there.

Michael Wilson - Arizona Cardinals Yahoo: 48%| ESPN: 8% | Sleeper: 40%

What an insane performance this week for anyone who streamed him. I mean, Jacoby Brissett isn’t going to set the completion record every week. But, for as long as Marvin Harrison Jr is out, Wilson is going to be on our streaming radar. And heck, maybe he earned himself a few extra looks with his performance this week. If Marvin Harrison Jr were out for the year, then we’d probably be throwing the bag at Wilson, but that’s not expected to be the case. So at some point, he’ll likely fall back behind Trey McBride and MHJ.

Andrei Iosivas - Cincinnati Bengals Yahoo: 1% | ESPN: 1% | Sleeper: 3%

This is obviously only a one-week play as Ja'Marr Chase is only suspended for one week. But whenever one of Ja'Marr Chase or Tee Higgins is out, we’ve seen Andrei Iosivas play nearly a 100% snap share at times. Over the last two years, Chase has been healthy while Higgins has missed time, so we’ve never actually seen the offense in this capacity. With Higgins likely going up against Christian Gonzalez this week, Iosivas is a sneaky streamer that could have a huge day.

KhaDarel Hodge - Atlanta Falcons Yahoo: 0% | ESPN: 0% | Sleeper: 0%

Darnell Mooney is likely going to be the main target for folks with Drake London out. And that should be the play. But he’s rostered in more leagues, so we do like to share a deeper option from time to time for the people that play in crazy deep leagues like #SFB15.

This might seem crazy, as Hodge has literally only caught a pass in one game this year. But, whenever Drake London is out, Khadarel Hodge seems to be the backup split end - and this is going back to his overtime heroics last year against the Buccaneers when London left mid-game. Earlier this year, when London was out against the Panthers, Hodge played a big snap share and got eight targets. So, in those super deep leagues where no one is seemingly ever available, it’s extremely likely that Khadarel Hodge is available.

NFL Week 12 Wide Receiver Stashes

Jayden Higgins - Houston Texans Yahoo: 17% | ESPN: 20% | Sleeper: 20%

We mentioned this in the main article, but the role is slowly growing for Jayden Higgins. He was just playing in two WR sets, and now he’s in some three WR sets too. Nico Collins is there, but Dalton Schultz isn’t exactly insurmountable as the second target on this team. Higgins is a stash, but he’s also gotten seven targets in two straight weeks, making him a spot start too if needed.

Luther Burden - Chicago Bears, Yahoo: 8% | ESPN: 6% | Sleeper: 19%

Also mentioned in the main article, Luther Burden’s role has also grown as he has surpassed Olamide Zaccheaus. He still might need an injury to DJ Moore or Rome Odunze, but he’s been effective on his limited touches.

Adonai Mitchell - New York JetsYahoo: 2%| ESPN: 2% | Sleeper: 7%

Adonai Mitchell had a tough time holding onto the football this weekend. A really tough time. But he didn’t have a tough time getting open. Anyone who watched that game saw the separation he was getting. And the Jets are trying anything they can right now with Garrett Wilson out, letting guys like Mitchell and John Metchie run wild. What if Mitchell continues to get separation but has chemistry with new starter Tyrod Taylor? It’s with a look in deeper leagues just to see. He did get a bunch of targets, even if he didn’t catch any of them.

NFL Week 12 Tight End Streamers

Juwan Johnson - New Orleans Saints Yahoo: 47% | ESPN: 35% | Sleeper: 58%

The number one add and top streamer is still Juwan Johnson. Sure, his matchup is not ideal vs. the Atlanta Falcons. But that defense has not been the same since Divine Deablo got hurt. Bryce Young just threw for nearly 450 yards on them. I’m willing to start Juwan this week and possibly the rest of the way if need be.

Harold Fannin Jr - Cleveland BrownsYahoo: 40% | ESPN: 53% | Sleeper: 59%

Sometimes we let perfect get in the way of good enough. Things are not perfect for Harold Fannin. He rotates with David Njoku. Now he has yet another QB change. But this guy has gotten a minimum of five targets in five straight games, and that includes one where he was nicked up. And he’s running more routes than Njoku every game. And what if Shedeur Sanders gets locked onto Fannin this game? This could turn into more than a one-week start if things break right.

NFL Week 12 Tight End Stashes

Darren Waller - Miami Dolphins Yahoo: 21% | ESPN: 19% | Sleeper: 30%

We had to use Greg Dulcich in a couple of spots where necessary. But he’s not Darren Waller. Waller is now eligible to return, and following his bye this week, maybe that will be the case? He’s still the highest upside option floating out there on the waiver wire, so he’s the best stash in our opinion.

Brenton Strange - Jacksonville JaguarsYahoo: 12%| ESPN: 10% | Sleeper: 20%

Strange quietly started this year with 4, 5, 7, and 7 targets before getting hurt. At the end of the day, we expected Brian Thomas Jr and Travis Hunter to be the top two targets, with Strange settling into a Cade Otton-type role. But now Brian Thomas Jr is not only struggling, but he’s pretty banged up. And guys like Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington might not necessarily command big target shares when Strange is back. He’s eligible to be activated off IR, so we could see him any week now.
