Welcome to the 2026 NFL DFS Week 7 RB Coach article! Kenneth Walker was our top Week 6 recommendation, but overall, it was a rough week for the NFL DFS RB coach. With so many NFL DFS backfields in flux in Week 7, it seems that, based on NFL DFS RB rankings, the list of NFL DFS RBs to avoid appears longer than the list of viable Week 7 NFL DFS RB options. Don’t worry, we have several Week 7 NFL DFS RB picks that can help us get our mojo back while helping you earn some cash!!
NFL DFS Week 7 RB Coach for FanDuel and DraftKings Fantasy
The Week 7 NFL DFS RB rankings show Derrick Henry offering relatively good value on DraftKings. He is the eighth-most expensive NFL DFS RB on DK at $7,900 in full-PPR scoring, compared with being the fourth most expensive NFL DFS RB on FanDuel at $9,000 in half-PPR scoring. Jahmyr Gibbs, Bijan Robinson, and Kenneth Walker are the three highest-priced backs on both platforms—and all three justify their salaries. Gibbs returns from his bye to face the Packers in a favorable matchup. Robinson looks to rebound after scoring single-digit PPR points for the first time this season; he faces a 49ers defense that has allowed the most receptions to NFL DFS running backs. Walker has been unstoppable, averaging 6.3 yards per carry and has proven to be matchup-proof.
NFL Week 7 Running Backs
With the Bills, Commanders, Chargers, and Jaguars on a bye in Week 7 and several NFL DFS RBs either managing injuries or part of a backfield that uses a committee or hot hand approach, the pool for viable NFL DFS RB options appears smaller than usual.
Jets NFL DFS RBs have a very good matchup against the Dolphins in Week 7. Breece Hall, out since Week 3 with a quad injury, hinted he’d be back “soon”. Braelon Allen has filled in nicely for Hall. Follow Hall’s progress. If he’s active, start him. If he’s not, start Allen.
Jeremiyah Love (ankle) didn’t practice on Wednesday. He has a good matchup against the Broncos’ NFL DFS RB-friendly defense, but he sat out Week 6, and his Week 7 availability is uncertain.
Saquon Barkley and Eagles Week 7 NFL DFS RBs have a good matchup against the Cowboys. As this article is being written, Barkley’s Week 7 status is yet to be confirmed. His DraftKings DFS salary ($6,800) reflects the risk in using him in DFS lineups, but his FanDuel salary ($8,000) does not. If Barkley is inactive and you have high risk tolerance, you might consider using Dameon Pierce in your NFL DFS lineups. His DFS salaries (DK $5,300/FD $5,900) make him a low-cost option who can potentially provide a good return on your investment.
NFL DFS RB Top Tier Picks for Week 7
Javonte Williams, Cowboys – DraftKings: $7,300 | FanDuel: $7,300
Williams is a low-cost choice from among the top-tier NFL DFS RBs who has a high ceiling based on his weekly volume and ability to find the end zone. His efficiency as a rusher hasn’t been great this season (3.7 YPC), but Williams has scored at least one TD in five of his first six games, and he has eight total TDs this season.
Kyren Williams, Rams – DraftKings: $7,000 | FanDuel: $7,900
Williams is another relatively low-cost option from among the top-tier NFL DFS RBs who is playing an average of just over 70% of the Rams’ offensive snaps. He has a favorable matchup against the Raiders, who are giving up the sixth most PPR fantasy points per game (FPPG) and the second most overall rushing yards to NFL DFS RBs this season. Williams has scored five total TDs in his first six games and is averaging 4.9 YPC.
NFL DFS RB Mid-Tier Picks for NFL Week 7
D'Andre Swift, Bears – DraftKings: $6,900 | FanDuel: $6,700
Bears head coach Ben Johnson confirmed that he’s using a committee approach to splitting snaps among his RBs and has used 50 snaps as his benchmark. Despite not playing more than 50 snaps this season, Swift is averaging the 11th most PPR FPPG among NFL DFS RBs. With Kyle Monangai already ruled out for Week 7, look for Swift to get his reps in against the Patriots, who are giving up 4.14 YPC and four TDs to NFL DFS RBs. Only two teams (Ravens and Vikings) run the ball more than the Bears this season.
Jaylen Warren, Steelers – DraftKings: $6,400 | FanDuel: $7,100
With Rico Dowdle back, Warren is available at a discount: $6,400 on DraftKings and $7,100 on FanDuel in Week 7, down from $7,000 and $7,300, respectively, in Week 6. Dowdle did eat into Warren’s playing time in Week 6, but Warren’s snaps played (59) dwarfed Dowdle’s (21). Dowdle is said to be dealing with a knee injury heading into Week 7, and that could mean that Warren will get even more playing time in a favorable matchup against the Saints that is too good to pass up. The Saints have given up 12 total TDs and the most PPR FPPG to NFL DFS RBs this season.
NFL Week 7 DFS RB Value Picks
Aaron Jones, Vikings – DraftKings: $6,200 | FanDuel: $5,900
Jordan Mason practiced in full on Wednesday and will likely be reinstated before kickoff in Week 7, but with the way Jones Sr. has performed as the Vikings’ lead NFL DFS RB, his usage is unlikely to change very much. The Vikings run the ball at the second-highest rate in the NFL, so even if they opt to get Mason more involved in their offense, there will be plenty of carries to go around. Jones Sr. has a favorable matchup against the Colts, who have given up six total TDs and 4.56 YPC to NFL DFS RBs this season.
Bucky Irving, Buccaneers – DraftKings: $6,100 | FanDuel: $7,200
Irving, who was held out of practice on Wednesday due to an illness, has a very favorable matchup against the Panthers in Week 7. Irving played over 85% of the Bucs’ offensive snaps in Week 6 and faces a Panthers run defense that has given up 5.10 YPC, the fifth-most PPR FPPG and six rushing TDs to NFL DFS RBs. His recent usage and ability to make defenders miss tackles make him one of the top Week 7 NFL DFS RB picks who can provide a good return on your investment.
Woody Marks, Texans – DraftKings: $5,600 | FanDuel: $6,200
David Montgomery (groin) did not practice on Wednesday and sat out in Week 6. If he is inactive in Week 7, Marks, who has logged two straight double-digit scoring weeks on the DraftKings platform, would be the Texans’ primary Week 7 NFL DFS RB. He has a good matchup against a Giants run defense that is giving up 4.78 YPC, the third-most rushing yards (645), and six total TDs to NFL DFS RBs this season.
Ollie Gordon, Dolphins – DraftKings: $5,500 | FanDuel: $6,000
Before his Week 6 bye, Gordon II had established himself as the Dolphins’ lead NFL DFS RB. He has three straight weeks of double-digit scoring on both the DK and FD platforms and has scored a TD in three straight games. Gordon II is also averaging 5.2 YPC during that stretch. He takes on the Jets, who are giving up the fifth most rushing yards (635) and six TDs to NFL DFS RBs this season.
NFL DFS RB Fades for Week 7
Jonathan Taylor, Colts – DraftKings: $8,000 | FanDuel: $8,500
Taylor has rushed for 3.8 YPC or fewer in three games this season, and his Week 7 matchup against the Vikings’ stout run defense has a good chance of making it a fourth. The Vikings are giving up the fewest average PPR FPPG to NFL DFS RBs and the third fewest total rushing yards (362) to the position. They’ve also limited NFL DFS RBs to just two TDs in their first five games.
NFL Week 7 RB Play of the Week
Christian McCaffrey, 49ers – DraftKings: $7,600 | FanDuel: $8,700
The 49ers are managing McCaffrey’s snaps this season. He averaged 54 snaps per game in 2025 compared to 43 snaps per game in 2026. Despite that, he has scored the fourth-most PPR fantasy points and is averaging the fourth-most PPR FPPG this season among all NFL DFS RBs. His YPC has increased from 3.9 YPC in 2025 to 4.5 YPC this season. McCaffrey has a high floor every week based on his prowess as a pass-catching NFL DFS RB. He has the third most receptions (28) among NFL DFS RBs this season, and he takes on the Falcons, who, in their first six games, have given up the fourth most receptions to RBs and seven total TDs to the position. McCaffrey is a very safe Week 7 NFL DFS RB pick.
