NFL DFS Week 7 QB Coach for Fanduel & DraftKings Fantasy

NFL DFS QB Top Tier Picks for Week 7

Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs - DraftKings: $7,000 | FanDuel: $8,000

Mahomes is the top-priced QB this week over on DraftKings and the fifth-highest priced QB on FanDuel as the Chiefs have a home matchup against the struggling Las Vegas Raiders this weekend. Mahomes threw three touchdown passes and ran for another against the Lions in Week 6, and over the last three weeks, he has put up 27.3, 30.7, and 31.5 fantasy points.

My LONE concern this week is that the Chiefs just blow out the Raiders and Mahomes won’t be forced into throwing the football 40 times in a shootout. That said, Rashee Rice is back, and he could very well just throw for three touchdowns and call it a day.

Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys - DraftKings: $6,500 | FanDuel: $8,300

You can certainly roll with Jayden Daniels in this matchup, but for a slight discount, Dak Prescott offers tremendous value. Over the past three weeks, Prescott has thrown 10 touchdowns without a single interception.

Now he’s back home, potentially with CeeDee Lamb returning, facing a vulnerable Washington Commanders defense. Prescott is in an excellent spot this week, making him a top play for NFL DFS Week 7 on DraftKings and FanDuel.

NFL DFS QB Mid-Tier Picks for NFL Week 7

Drake Maye, QB, New England Patriots - DraftKings: $6,300 | FanDuel: $8,200

Drake Maye’s pricing doesn’t quite align with a true mid-tier QB, but he lands in that range for me this week due to some historical trends that might not matter come Sunday. Teams playing their third consecutive road game, like the Patriots, have historically struggled.

Additionally, they face a Titans team fresh off firing their head coach, and data shows teams often perform well in their first game under an interim coach. That said, the Patriots’ youth could help them defy the road trend, and the Titans’ issues may run deeper than coaching.

As for Maye, his ceiling keeps climbing. With New England’s run game nonexistent, the offense increasingly relies on Maye’s arm, and he’s consistently delivered. He’s a compelling play for NFL DFS Week 7 on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Caleb Williams, QB, Chicago Bears - DraftKings: $5,800 | FanDuel: $7,900

From a pricing standpoint, there is a really big discrepancy between DraftKings and FanDuel on the value of Caleb Williams this week. On DraftKings, he is the ninth highest-priced QB on the board, while on FanDuel, he is the sixth highest-priced QB.

Getting a QB under $6,000 on DraftKings in a home matchup against a dreadful New Orleans Saints defense is likely to make Williams one of the highest rostered plays of the week. The DFS production for Williams this season has been better than the real-life QB play, but that is all that really matters for us. Stacking Williams with Rome Odunze or Luther Burden could be the move this week, especially if DJ Moore is unable to suit up.

Justin Fields, QB, New York Jets - DraftKings: $5,700 | FanDuel: $7,400

The definition of insanity is what again?.... The New York Jets are at home this weekend to play the Carolina Panthers. This is a Panthers team that hasn’t won a game on the road this season and one that boasts one of the worst defenses in football.

Justin Fields and the New York Jets might actually be the worst team in the NFL, but they sure can run the football. Fields is going to be without Garrett Wilson, which leaves Josh Reynolds and Mason Taylor as his top receiving options….not great. That said, the Panthers are also one of the worst teams in football when it comes to covering the tight end position.

This play is 100% about the rushing upside for Fields, who has put up some huge games this season from a fantasy perspective while also putting up just four fantasy points last week against the Broncos in London.

NFL Week 7 DFS QB Value Picks

Spencer Rattler, QB, New Orleans Saints - DraftKings: $4,800 | FanDuel: $6,600

The New Orleans Saints are struggling to win games and score points this season, but second-year quarterback Spencer Rattler isn't the main issue. Rattler has completed 68.5% of his passes for 1,217 yards, throwing six touchdowns and just one interception. He's been sacked only 11 times and hasn't lost a fumble. Additionally, he's shown some mobility, rushing for 143 yards on 26 carries.

This week, the Saints face a Bears defense on the road that recently allowed receiving touchdowns to Luke McCaffrey and Chris Moore. With targets like Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed, Rattler could exploit this matchup. He previously threw three touchdowns against the 49ers and scored 16 fantasy points against the Giants. This game could be a sneaky opportunity to target the Bears' defense.

Dillon Gabriel, QB, Cleveland Browns - DraftKings: $4,400 | FanDuel: $6,500

It's unclear if Gabriel is a good quarterback yet, as his early NFL career has been challenging. He debuted in London against the Vikings and then faced a well-rested Steelers team post-bye week on the road. Now, in his third start, the Browns host a Miami Dolphins team that appears to be unraveling.

While Quinshon Judkins could dominate with 200 rushing yards, Gabriel showed promise in his debut, throwing two touchdowns against the Vikings for 16 fantasy points. A similar performance against the Dolphins could easily justify his near-minimum price tag this week.

NFL DFS QB Fades for Week 7

Jaxson Dart, QB, New York Giants - DraftKings: $5,200 | FanDuel: $7,300

The Giants and rookie QB Dart put on an impressive show on Thursday Night Football, overpowering the Philadelphia Eagles. Dart shone, completing 68% of his passes for 195 yards and a touchdown, while also contributing 58 yards and a score on 13 carries.

Giants fans have plenty to be excited about with their young quarterback through his first three NFL starts. However, both of the Giants’ wins came at home, and their road trip to New Orleans resulted in a near-two-touchdown loss to the Saints.

This week, the Giants face another tough road test against a formidable Denver Broncos defense. I’m skeptical Dart and the Giants can replicate their recent success in this matchup, making him a riskier play for NFL DFS Week 7 on DraftKings and FanDuel.
