Ravens vs. Browns Predictions, Picks & Odds: NFL Week 11, 11/16
At 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Cincinnati Bengals. Which means that, by the time the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns square off at 4:25 PM ET, we’ll know whether the Steelers have won or lost. And that will tell us whether the Ravens have a shot of tying them for the division lead in a hotly-contested AFC North.
The 2-7 Cleveland Browns aren’t just playing spoiler, however. They technically are still in the hunt for the division as the Steelers are sitting 5-4 and the Ravens are 4-5. It’s not super likely but the NFL is the place where crazy things can and do happen. So, we’ll have to factor that into our Ravens vs. Browns predictions and picks for Week 11!Â

Ravens vs. Browns Predictions For Sunday 4:25 PM ET, NFL Week 11
Division games don’t always go the way we’d expect. And the Ravens vs. Browns has been as good of an example as any in recent years. You would expect the Baltimore Ravens to dominate the lowly Browns. But, over their last eight games, the series is actually tied 4-4. In their entire history, Baltimore leads 38-15 but, lately, it’s been more of a mixed bag.
This season, the Ravens have had some tough times, especially with injuries to Lamar Jackson and Roquan Smith. That has their current record at 4-5, though they’ve won their last three games as the team gets healthy. The Browns have not had much success outside of a win against the equally bad Dolphins and a huge surprise against the Green Bay Packers.Â
Baltimore Ravens: Leaders Healthy On Both Sides Of The Ball
There is no question that the Ravens are a better team with the MVP-caliber Lamar Jackson healthy. They might be without a couple ancillary pieces, like Rashod Bateman and Justice Hill, but this team is capable of winning any given game with Jackson. We’ve been reminded of that this season after witnessing the team behind Cooper Rush and Tyler Huntley. Jackson already faced this team earlier this year when he threw for four touchdowns in a 41-17 whooping.Â
The Ravens are also happy to have back their signal-caller on defense. Smith wears the green dot and keeps everyone in their place though a hamstring issue saw him miss multiple games early on. The Ravens actually returned to their winning from when Smith got back against the Chicago Bears, one game before Jackson returned. There’s no question that this is a different team and defense with him healthy.Â
Cleveland Browns: Is Shedeur Sanders Time Coming?
The Browns, once again, decided to go into the NFL season with a quarterback room full of uncertainty. They traded for Kenny Pickett and then traded him away. They started Joe Flacco and then traded HIM away. Dillon Gabriel has started the last five games, but has only one win to show for it - against the Miami Dolphins. At some point, Shedeur Sanders is going to get his own look - and it could be as soon as this week.
On defense, the Cleveland Browns have some great pieces - namely, Myles Garrett. The Browns have been incredibly stout up the middle against the run where both the DVOA stat over at FTN Fantasy and Pro Football Focus’s grades have them as the top run unit. Teams have had some success running on the outside against them, like the Lions and Patriots, however. And most teams just end up throwing against them instead.Â

Ravens vs. Browns: Baltimore Ravens +7.5Â (-110 at BetMGM Sportsbook)
If the Ravens did not have the stretch of games without Lamar Jackson and Roquan Smith, I don’t think this game would be capped the way it is. Because most of the issues for the Ravens have stemmed directly from not having their offensive and defensive leaders. Remember, these teams squared off earlier this year when those guys were playing and the Ravens crushed them 41-17.
And that was with Joe Flacco at quarterback. As we’ve since learned from his stint with the Bengals, Joe Flacco can still spin the ball just fine with the right weapons. They’ve been in every single game despite having a terrible defense. Now, we’re going to see the Ravens with Jackson and Smith square off against what essentially amounts to a lesser version of a team they already handled fairly easily. If those two players had been healthy all year, this spread would easily be in the double digits.
I know division games can be dicey and the Browns have pushed the recent series to 4-4. But the Ravens have won the last two matchups with these Browns, 41-17 and 35-10. In what is a very important game for the Baltimore Ravens at this juncture, I don’t think they take any chances here. I think they take care of business and cover this spread fairly easily.Â
