We only have four teams left that have covered 100% of the time this season, and somehow, one of them is the New York Jets. Maybe I should stop saying “GREAT” teams cover… That being said, NFL Week 4 brings an interesting slate to take a look at. Maybe the Jets (and the other three teams) can keep it up and stay perfect!

NFL Week 4 Picks Against The Spread: Green Bay Packers -3.5 (-108 at BetMGM Sportsbook)
Don’t get it twisted, I do not like the Green Bay Packers; both as a Chicago Bears fan and an NFL fan this season. They have underachieved thus far in the NFL season; their offensive line is a mess, and they were just embarrassed in primetime by the Atlanta Falcons, who had yet to win a game going into that matchup. Luckily for the Packers, they are stumbling into a get-right game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are not only 0-3 so far this season, but they are starting an undrafted rookie backup quarterback under center: Jalon Daniels.
Undrafted rookie quarterbacks in their first start are 6-9 since 2000 (honestly better than I was anticipating), and not many of them inherited a winless team in their debut, so Jalon Daniels has an uphill battle. I’d expect the Packers defense to cause Daniels some trouble; this Bucs offense has been inconsistent with Baker Mayfield under center, so my hopes are not that high.
Meanwhile, the Packers' biggest issue this season has been their offensive line and run game. While Vita Vea is a difference maker, it feels like he is the only concern along the front seven for the Bucs, with rookies Rueben Bain Jr. and Josiah Trotter nursing injuries. 3.5 seems like a safe line for the Packers to get back on track with a gift from the NFL schedule makers.
NFL Week 4 Picks Against The Spread: Denver Broncos +2.5 (-102 at FanDuel Sportsbook)
I am not sure why the market is still sleeping on the Denver Broncos. Sure, they got off to a slow start against a familiar antagonist in the Kansas City Chiefs, but since then, they have pulled off back-to-back comebacks against two of the top teams in the league: the Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Rams. Last season, the Broncos were the kings of the comeback, helping them finish as the number one seed in the AFC. While their defense doesn’t seem to be the elite unit it was last season, they still have several stars capable of making big plays, and it feels like their offense has finally found its footing with new play caller Davis Webb.
Admittedly, the San Francisco 49ers have looked like one of the best teams in the league this season. Their one issue (which seems to be an issue every year) is health. The 49ers are already dealing with so many injuries that they are running out of IR spots. With a banged-up offense and no Nick Bosa on the defense, I feel confident taking the Broncos to cover in a close game. One more injury and the wheels could fall off for the Niners.
