Welcome to our 2026 NFL Week 4 Picks Straight Up! While we may have gone 2-0 with our two featured picks, NFL Week 3 was still full of some wild upsets I don’t think anyone could have seen coming. Shoutout to Case Keenum for a legacy game after entering the season as a third-string quarterback. See, Cooper Rush? It CAN be done! That being said, Week 4 should provide us with some more answers to which of these teams are contenders and who are pretenders.

So, without further ado, it is time to bring you our expert 2026 NFL Week 4 Picks Straight Up. Below, you will find my picks, some highlighted matchups, and the odds and spreads for every game this week.

NFL Week 4 Picks Straight Up: Cleveland Browns ML (+127 at Caesars Sportsbook)

When it comes to the AFC North, I have learned to always expect the unexpected. The Steelers won the division last year on a missed field goal, the Bengals were upset last week after appearing like a juggernaut, and the Cleveland Browns are somehow 2-1…? 

As much as we may dislike him, Deshaun Watson has been finding ways to win for the Cleveland Browns. His athleticism seems to be back after his Achilles injuries, he has made clutch passes, and Head Coach Todd Monken has brilliantly designed ways for this offense to move the ball from designed quarterback runs to YAC opportunities for Harold Fannin. The defense has also been pretty feisty even without Myles Garrett. 2025 First Round Pick Mason Graham has started to emerge and show why he was drafted so highly, and I think that could play a significant role in this game. 

Last game for the Steelers was an outlier amongst the Aaron Rodgers era. Against the Bengals, Rodgers attempted 15 passes of 10+ yards downfield, the most since he joined the Steelers. That game also helped him reach 20 pass attempts of 20+ air yards on the season, almost half of what he had all last year. Before this game, Rodgers' yards per attempt was historically low, so I don’t expect this to be a trend moving forward. Even if he does continue airing it out, he has only completed 2/20 of those 20+ yard passes. 10% is certainly not great.

It is weird to say, but through three weeks, I trust the Browns' offense more than Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers, but that is where we are at. Add in the fact that the Browns are 7-0 in their last seven Thursday Night Football games, and I don’t mind getting the Browns here at plus money at home.

NFL Week 4 Picks Straight Up: Los Angeles Rams ML (-158 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

I don’t think we should overthink this one. The Los Angeles Rams built a super-team this offseason. Sure, Puka Nacua and Myles Garrett are banged up, and Aaron Donald is still getting reacclimated to the league, but this team is legit. They collapsed in the fourth quarter against the Denver Broncos, who I still view as one of the top teams in this league, and that collapse was historic. There were five penalties called against the Los Angeles Rams with two minutes left in the game, the MOST since 2000. I don’t expect that to happen every single game.

On the other side, the Philadelphia Eagles just lost a game to a quarterback who had not started a game in over 1,000 days. Their offense was shut out in the second half, and if it weren’t for a Tush Push buzzer-beater, they would have been shut out for the entire game against a lackluster Chicago Bears defense. The defense is still talented, but is not the shutdown unit it used to be, the offensive line is no longer elite, and the offense still has not found its footing with Sean Mannion. If Puka Nacua is active this week, I would expect this number to find itself closer to -200, so get this price while you still can.
