Well, the Chargers and Cowboys were both part of games this past Sunday that resulted in playoff eliminations. LA taking down the Kansas City Chiefs, along with some other results, eliminated them from the postseason for the first time since 2014! Meanwhile, the Cowboys all but eliminated themselves.

Their loss on Sunday Night Football at home to the Minnesota Vikings eliminated them from Wild Card contention. Not Mahomes, but another AFC West QB is our target. Justin Herbert injured his hand two weeks ago, had surgery the following day and hasn’t missed a second of action. So, we’re going to go back to the well in terms of a market that was a cash cow for NFL expert picks throughout much of the season.

That would be the Oregon product’s scrambling ability, and there is no better matchup to target for our Chargers vs. Cowboys predictions. Last season, Dallas allowed the most fantasy points, rushing yards AND rushing TDs to the QB position. This year, they are doing the exact same outside of the fifth-most rushing yards to QBs.

Just two weeks ago, he ran 10 times for 66 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles. He also had 60 rushing yards against the Washington Commanders, and neither of those teams are as good of a matchup as Dallas. Even if you don’t want to buy into that narrative, his 419 rushing yards are the third-most among QBs this season.
