Fantasy Football NFL Week 6 Target Report: Wan'Dale Robinson Takes Over
It’s crazy that, after five weeks of NFL football, we still have just as many questions as we had in August. For some teams, like the New York Giants, we actually have MORE questions. And that’s the beauty of fantasy football. The landscape is ever-changing, and the folks who are the most plugged in will continue to have an advantage.
So that’s why we continue to update the tools like the Target Report and the RB Questionnaire. We are doing our best to watch the games, read the data, and correctly project out the pecking orders for these teams. So let’s dig in and hit it for Week 6.
2025 Fantasy Football NFL Week 6 Target Report Preview
Why do we do the target report? Well, we have a pretty good indication historically of how many fantasy-relevant pass-catchers can come from each team. The short and sweet is that the vast majority of teams will have one, maybe two fantasy-relevant pass-catchers. And there will almost certainly be more teams with zero than there are with three. Most meaningful fantasy players get at least 100 targets - here is a look at how players on each team over the last decade have hit that milestone.
In the chart below, what we will do is attempt to take each team and project A. the target pecking order, and B. what target range the players will likely fall into. At the bottom, we’ll include some notes as far as what went into the rankings and color-coded chart. So let’s dive in!

Fantasy Football Week 6 Target Report Advice & Takeaways
If a team has a ** next to them, it means they moved to a new section. If a team has a note, it means there is something we should monitor or some sort of change. If there are no notes, we can assume it is business as usual.
Clear Top Two
Arizona Cardinals
Cincinnati Bengals
Chicago Bears
- DJ Moore
- Rome Odunze
- Coming off a bye week, Colston Loveland could return, so monitor his health.
Indianapolis Colts
- Michael Pittman
- Tyler Warren
- Adonai Mitchell was bunched in this game, even with Alec Pierce out. That still didn’t see Josh Downs elevated to a full-time shap share, though. Ashton Dulin instead played 47 snaps to 33 for Downs, which represents a 50% snap share. Pittman and Warren are must-starts, while Downs is more of a situational PPR guy.
Las Vegas Raiders
- Brock Bowers
- Jakobi Meyers
- Jakobi Meyers leads the team with 39 targets, but has not been super reliable lately. Tre Tucker is a field stretcher, but his fantasy value is mostly derived from his four touchdowns.
Los Angeles Rams
New England Patriots
- Hunter Henry
- Stefon Diggs
- Stefon Diggs crushed in his “revenge game” against the Bills. We don’t like to see Hunter Henry block on as many pass plays as he has lately, but he still led this team in routes run and is involved enough to run out there if you need someone. The schedule is good, and he doesn’t have a bye until Week 14. We’d love to see Kyle Williams at some points, considering the lack of production from the other WRs.
Seattle Seahawks
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba
- Cooper Kupp
- Similar situation here. Out of 34 routes, Kupp ran 32 while Jaxon Smith-Njigba ran 31. AJ Barner ran 22, Tory Horton ran 17, and Elijah Arroyo ran 16, so a bit hard to trust them.
High Consolidation
Atlanta Falcons
- Drake London
- Darnell Mooney
- Kyle Pitts
- Bijan Robinson
- Darnell Mooney just left this game with a hamstring issue. If he misses time, Casey Washington will pick up the snaps and could be a DFS dart throw or a deep streamer.
Dallas Cowboys
- CeeDee Lamb*
- George Pickens
- Jake Ferguson
- Jalen Tolbert picked up the snaps, but Ryan Flournoy, despite his limited usage, was much more efficient and useful. We’re probably not adding Flournoy since he’s not particularly useful once CeeDee Lamb gets back. But maybe worth a DFS play or deeper dynasty add.
Los Angeles Chargers
- Ladd McConkey
- Quentin Johnston
- Keenan Allen
- Allen continues to be the part-time guy, but he’s often a focal point when he’s in there. This is creating a strange three-headed monster, and Oronde Gadsden getting targets isn’t helping. With the offensive line and RB injuries, however, they will likely continue to throw.
Miami Dolphins
- Jaylen Waddle
- De’von Achane
- Darren Waller*
- Nick Westbrook-Ikhine-Ikhine played more snaps (39 of 55) than Malik Washington (32), but Washington got more touches. We are really just interested in starting Waddle, Achane, and Waller for now, but Washington is a potential bench stash.
Philadelphia Eagles
- AJ Brown
- DeVonta Smith
- Dallas Goedert*
- Saquon Barkley
- At least it’s highly consolidated in terms of targets, even if the production isn’t great. You might just have to hold your nose and start these guys unless you have better options out there.
San Francisco 49ers
- Ricky Pearsall
- Jauan Jennings
- George Kittle*
- Christian McCaffrey
- With Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle, Ricky Pearsall, and Jauan Jennings all out, it was Kendrick Bourne and Demarcus Robinson getting the work. And Bourne showed up in a big way. He’s a spot start at least until two or more of the other guys get back.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Mike Evans*
- Emeka Egbuka
- Chris Godwin
- Chris Godwin ran 18 slot routes while Cade Otton, Sterling Shepard, and Emeka Egubka each ran 12. It will be interesting to see who gets more slot work when Mike Evans gets back, Egbuka or Godwin. And who ends up as the “odd man out” for two WR sets?
Washington Commanders
- Terry McLaurin*
- Deebo Samuel
- Zach Ertz
- Zach Ertz has seen a declining snap share since Week 2. He’s been hovering around 50-60% the last three weeks. And he just had his first game in almost a decade with no catches. Really hard to trust anyone outside of McLaurin and Deebo. Reports are that McLaurin could be back for Week 6.
One Stud, Then Uncertainty
Baltimore Ravens
- Zay Flowers
- After Flowers, it’s really hard to trust anyone here, especially with Cooper Rush as the QB. Out of 21 routes, Flowers ran all 21, Bateman ran 17, then Andrews (14), Likely (11), and Hopkins (7) were next.
Carolina Panthers
- Tetairoa McMillan
- The relatively poor play of the other pass-catchers continues to make Jalen Coker an interesting stash. Outside of Tetairoa McMillan, no one is better than a DFS dart throw right now. Jimmy Horn got some touches, but he only ran 9 routes.
Denver Broncos
- Courtland Sutton
- Classic Broncos. 70 snaps out of 74 for Courtland Sutton this week. Next highest were Troy Franklin (44), Pat Bryant (40), Evan Engram (30), and Marvin Mims. Sutton is a must-start. Engram, you start if you need to. Everyone else is tough to trust here.
Detroit Lions
- Amon-Ra St. Brown
- ARSB is always involved. In any given other week, it could be a Sam LaPorta week or it could be a Jameson Williams week. So far, LaPorta has been more reliable, but that’s why we were trying to avoid those two outside of best ball.
Houston Texans
- Nico Collins
- Don’t let the garbage time fool you. It’s still Nico as the top guy with a bit of a rotation after him. Christian Kirk plays primarily slot in three-WR sets with Xavier Hutchinson. For two WR sets, Jayden Higgins oddly plays with Nico. Makes them all tough to trust. Dalton Schultz also only ran 23 of 35 routes, which hurts his upside, too.
Jacksonville Jaguars
- Brian Thomas Jr
- Travis Hunter FINALLY got some snaps in two WR sets (he also started on defense). The expanded role on defense is not ideal, but we’re seeing him as more than just a slot guy. Hopefully, the offensive expansion continues because he’s a fun player to watch. Brenton Strange was placed on IR, which will likely elevate Hunter Long to the primary TE spot with Johnny Mundt as the blocking TE.
Minnesota Vikings
- Justin Jefferson
- Same situation here - Jefferson clearly gets his work first, then it’s Jordan Addison battling with T.J. Hockenson for targets next. In the Kirk Cousins and even Sam Darnold era, that was fine, but their volume - and quality - is hard to come by this year. They’ll be on bye next week to hopefully get healthy.
New Orleans Saints
- Chris Olave
- The snaps for Juwan Johnson were slowly declining - and that was before Taysom Hill and Foster Moreau returned. Juwan is still the best bet of this crew, but, along with the ankle issue, he’s no longer a locked-in must-start guy for us. More of a spot start, like Rashid Shaheed.
New York Giants*
- Wan’Dale Robinson
- With Nabers out, Darius Slayton was the WR2, but he went down with an injury and is doubtful this week. Wan’Dale Robinson remains a locked-in PPR option, but the more interesting development was Theo Johnson running 35 routes and getting 7 targets from Jaxson Dart here. He’s absolutely worth a look off waivers, given his deployment. His TE eligibility is much more interesting than anything Darius Slayton can offer. Jalin Hyatt is your next best deep league of single-game DFS dart throw if you need it.
New York Jets
- Garrett Wilson
- Mason Taylor quietly just ran the second-most routes on the team while also matching Garrett Wilson with 9 targets. I know the Jets threw more than typical this week, but that’s why we said to add Taylor in last week’s waiver wire article.
Pittsburgh Steelers
- DK Metcalf
- Calvin Austin left with a minor injury - the Steelers are coming off a bye, so monitor the injury report.
Wide Open
Buffalo Bills
- Keon Coleman
- Khalil Shakir
- Dalton Kincaid
- Keon Coleman was reportedly disciplined via playing time in this one, but still ran the second-most routes to Khalil Shakir. It’s hard to trust any of them in this scheme, but Shakir is the floor PPR play, Coleman has the high-risk, high-reward upside, and Dalton Kincaid’s biggest benefit is his TE eligibility. He still only ran 24 of 40 routes this week, which is an annoying 60%.
Cleveland Browns
- Jerry Jeudy
- David Njoku
- Harold Fannin
- Cedric Tillman*
- With Cedric Tillman out, Isaiah Bond stepped up into that number 2 role. He wasn’t super efficient, but he did get a decent target share. Still worth a stash for us. David Njoku played more snaps than Fannin here, which was a departure from last week.
Green Bay Packers
- Romeo Doubs
- Tucker Kraft
- Matthew Golden
- Dontayvion Wicks
- The Packers are coming off a bye week - monitor Christian Watson as he gets ramped up.
Kansas City Chiefs
- Xavier Worthy
- Travis Kelce
- Hollywood Brown
- Rashee Rice*
- The team called 46 pass plays. Here were the route leaders: Xavier Worthy 37, Travis Kelce 35, JuJu Smith-Schuster 28, Hollywood Brown 25, Tyquan Thornton 23, and Noah Gray 23. Worthy and Kelce are guys you start. The next most interesting until Rashee Rice gets back is Thornton because of his big play potential. Once Rice is back, it’s Worthy, Rice, and Kelce, and life is much more simple.
Tennessee Titans
- Calvin Ridley
- Elic Ayomanor
- Chig Okonkwo
- It’s hard to start any of these guys given their lack of consistency. Calvin Ridley and Elic Ayomanor at least lead this team in snaps and routes when healthy. Chig Okonkwo quietly lost some snaps to Gunnar Helm this week - Helm also got 5 targets to only 4 for Chig. When teams start losing like this they sometimes do more “live tryouts” with younger guys which is never good for fantasy football.
