Fantasy Football managers are likely breathing easier this week, as the injuries calmed down a bit this past weekend. That said, many stars are continuing to deal with multi-week injuries, and many players have not even returned to practice. On top of that, bye weeks are happening as well, with the Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, and Washington Commanders inactive this week. Let’s take a peek at the early injury reports for the week to attempt to get some clarity.
NFL Week 7 Injury Report: Quarterbacks
Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
Jackson returned to practice this week in a limited fashion, and while he’s questionable, Jackson stated he is trending in the right direction. Lamar managers hopefully have their QB1 back but should remain ready in case he can’t go.
Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
Hurts had been placed on IR with a blood clot in his calf, but new imaging shows clotting in his lungs as well. He is expected to miss the rest of the season.
Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Mayfield looked good in practice this week and will receive the start this weekend, per head coach Todd Bowles. Mayfield’s receiving options likely see a bump, as Jalon Daniels has been limited as a passer.
NFL Week 7 Injury Report: Running Backs
Quinshon Judkins, Cleveland Browns
Judkins enters the weekend with no injury designation. He’s back and ready to go for the Browns offense that has sorely missed his skill set.
David Montgomery, Houston Texans
Montgomery is not expected to play this week. Woody Marks will likely receive the start, but with Jahwar Jordan placed on IR, Dare Ogunbowale will likely operate as the team's RB2 this week.
Jordan Mason, Minnesota Vikings
Mason has practiced fully this week, which points to him returning to start this weekend. Mason’s return is a massive bump for the Vikings offense, which has struggled to run the ball in his absence.
Breece Hall, New York Jets
Breece Hall has returned to practice in a limited capacity. He’s officially being listed as questionable, but there’s hope he’ll be active this week. If he is active, I’m expecting more of a split workload with how successful Braelon Allen has been.
Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles
Barkley has not practiced since suffering his hamstring injury, so his status will likely revolve around returning to practice this week. Should he return to practice, I’m expecting him to return to action.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Washington Commanders
Croskey-Merritt has been ruled out of Monday’s matchup against the 49ers and is being placed on Injured Reserve. Rachaad White and Austin Ekeler are expected to see most of the work, but Jeremy McNichols could also be activated from Injured Reserve, leading to additional workload splitting.
Jeremiyah Love, Arizona Cardinals
Mike LaFleur confirmed today that Jeremiyah Love will not play this weekend. Bam Knight and Tyler Allgeier will split the work once again.
Brian Robinson, Atlanta Falcons
Robinson Jr. will be out this week against the 49ers. More work will likely just go to Bijan Robinson, with no other RB currently listed on the roster.
Jaylen Wright, Miami Dolphins
Wright will return to action this week per head coach Jeff Hafley. How much work he’ll take back from Ollie Gordon remains to be seen, as Gordon has averaged 94 yards and a touchdown in the last two games, and has 3 straight games with touchdowns.
Zach Charbonnet, Seattle Seahawks
Charbonnet has been practicing fully this week, which points to him returning this weekend. This should be a boost for a rushing attack that has struggled since RB1 Jadarian Price was placed on IR.
NFL Week 7 Injury Report: Wide Receivers
Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams
Adams suffered a ruptured hamstring against the Cardinals. He will miss 6-10 weeks as a result and will likely be placed on Injured Reserve.
Rashod Bateman, Baltimore Ravens
Bateman is no longer on the injury report. He’s good to go this weekend.
Terry McLaurin, Washington Commanders
McLaurin suffered a torn patellar tendon in his left knee and will be placed on IR. He will miss the rest of the season. Treylon Burks saw increased production after McLaurin’s injury, and I’m expecting much of the same.
Tank Dell, Houston Texans
Dell will return to action in Week 7, marking his first game since December of 2024. He’s not officially activated at this point, but should be good to go.
Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs
Rice continues to deal with multiple leg injuries. He will be inactive this weekend against the Seahawks. Xavier Worthy and Jalen Royals will likely see increased work, but we could see additional play from preseason star Cyrus Allen.
Caleb Douglas, Miami Dolphins
Douglas will return to action this week, per head coach Jeff Hafley. Douglas likely immediately slots in as the team's WR1.
Jordyn Tyson, New Orleans Saints
Tyson is “getting closer,” per general manager Mickey Loomis, but is not returning to practice this week. Week 8 might be the first we see of him at practice, but that remains to be seen.
Mike Evans, San Francisco 49ers
Evans has officially been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Falcons. With Deebo Samuel also being ruled out, the WR room is extremely depleted for the 49ers.
Christian Kirk, San Francisco 49ers
Kirk has been a full practice participant this week. With Evans potentially not playing, Kirk could come back into a significant role on this passing offense.
Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
Nacua has been added to the injury report with a minor calf injury and missed practice on Friday. It’s currently not expected to impact his status, though he will be listed as questionable, and we may see a slight decrease in production this week if snaps end up limited.
DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles
Smith, as well as Dontayvion Wicks, were both held out of practice on Thursday and Friday as they deal with various injuries. Smith has already taken a hit with Jalen Hurts missing the rest of the season, but if he’s not fully healthy, I’m fading him into WR3 territory at best.
Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Egbuka is not only dealing with a foot injury, but has also not cleared concussion protocol at this time. He’s doubtful to play and is much closer to truly being out.
NFL Week 7 Injury Report: Tight Ends
T.J. Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings
Hockenson has practiced fully this week, which points to him clearing concussion protocol. We’re awaiting the final clearance, but he should be good to go.
Tyler Warren, Indianapolis Colts
Warren ended up dealing with a groin injury this week, which will ultimately keep him out of the game this weekend. Warren has been a strong fantasy producer, so managers will have to find a streaming/backup option this week.
Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles
Goedert was held out of Thursday’s and Friday’s practices while Eli Stowers and Grant Calcaterra are both fully practicing. Goedert may just be held out as a precaution, but monitor this through Saturday. If Goedert is your TE1, I would consider picking up a backup in case he’s ultimately out.
