NFL Injury Report 2026 Ahead of Sunday's Week 4 Games: Justin Jefferson, Breece Hall
Week 3 was brutal for injuries, with many fantasy football superstars being removed from action. Players on both sides of the ball have felt the brunt of the season already, with many season-ending injuries to star players. With that in mind, let’s take a look at who is hurt, who is getting healthy, and who may be a waiver option.
NFL Week 4 Injury Report: Quarterbacks
Caleb Williams (Chicago Bears)
Caleb is out this week. The Bears have not announced the starter, but there’s reason to believe that Case Keenum has earned another start after his performance against the Eagles.
Jayden Daniels (Washington Commanders)
Daniels has officially been ruled out this week. Marcus Mariota will start in his place, and if last week's performance holds true, he will be an improvement for pass-catching options in this offense.
NFL Week 4 Injury Report: Running Backs
Travis Etienne (New Orleans Saints)
Etienne has officially been placed on the injured reserve. He will miss a minimum of 4 weeks, but could potentially be out longer. Alvin Kamara will likely receive the start and will be a solid fantasy option for the first time this season.
Breece Hall (New York Jets)
Hall has been ruled out with his quadriceps injury this week. Braelon Allen will be the starter and is arguably a premier flex/RB2 option as a result.
Tyjae Spears (Tennessee Titans)
Spears has been dealing with an ankle injury, but he is trending in the right direction per head coach Robert Saleh. Should he play, he’s likely in a split unless something happens to Tony Pollard.
NFL Week 4 Injury Report: Wide Receivers
Jalen Coker (Carolina Panthers)
Coker is officially listed as questionable, but I expect him to play. Keep an eye on reports early on Sunday to ensure he’s active.
Mike Evans (San Francisco 49ers)
Evans did not participate in practice as of Thursday. He may still be active given his history of appearing on injury reports, but this will be one to monitor heading into game time. ;
Justin Jefferson (Minnesota Vikings)
Jefferson has been ruled out of this weekend's matchup. Fantasy managers will have to pivot off their WR1.
Caleb Douglas (Miami Dolphins)
Douglas has officially been ruled out this weekend. Most Dolphins options will not be fantasy relevant, and the likelihood of picking the right player is low.
Jayden Reed (Green Bay Packers)
Reed underwent surgery on his neck this week. He is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season as a result. Christian Watson and Matthew Golden likely see a bump as a result.
Keenan Allen (Indianapolis Colts)
Allen suffered a groin injury that has kept him out of practice this week. If he is unable to go, Tyler Warren and Josh Downs likely see a bump in targets.
Adonai Mitchell (New York Jets)
Adonai Mitchell has been ruled out with a finger injury. Garrett Wilson is the WR1 of this offense, but he likely will get a slight increase in target share with limited 2nd options.
DeVonta Smith (Philadelphia Eagles)
Smith suffered a hamstring injury that will keep him out of action this week. This Eagles offense is limited in terms of overall talent at this point, but Makai Lemon will likely operate as the WR1 this week.
NFL Week 4 Injury Report: Tight Ends
Terrance Ferguson (Los Angeles Rams)
Ferguson has been ruled out this week with an ankle injury. With Colby Parkinson active, he is likely the preferred option in this TE room.
Dallas Goedert (Philadelphia Eagles)
Goedert has officially been ruled out this week as he continues to work his way back from a knee injury. The backup tight ends in this offense will likely be non-factors fantasy-wise.
