How is that NFL Week 16 DFS roster construction coming along? By now you should have identified which chalk plays you are using, where you are getting your value plays and then from there, how you want/need to fill in the blanks in both your cash game lineups and your GPP lineups. If you don't, then head back over the the NFL Week 16 DFS Playbook and start reading. In addition to that, we hope you have checked in on the latest NFL Week 16 weather report because there are going to be a few games we may actually avoid entirely.  Jon Impemba and I just finished recording the NFL Week 16 DFS Podcast and while we are both cognizant of what the weather situations are, I am reacting to certain things a little less.

For example, the Buffalo Bills vs Chicago Bears. It's supposed to be cold and it's supposed to be windy. But there is no precipitation in the forecast right now and while yes, they are saying gusts between 30-35 mph, I'll believe it when I see it. I'll be tracking the weather more inside the NFL DFS Week 16 Example Lineups, but we all know Josh Allen and his weapons are used to the cold and the wind. Maybe Justin Fields and the Bears will keep from throwing, but Allen is another story. I won't be relying on Stefon Diggs in cash, but I won't ignore him in GPP tournaments.

But here we are in the Dart Board and that means you are looking for NFL Week 16 DFS bargain plays. We've got you covered.

Welcome to the DFS Dart Board for NFL Week 16!

If you're new to Fantasy Alarm, the DFS Dart Board is an add-on to the Playbook that I started a few years ago. It came about when I was building GPP lineups and realized I needed more salary relief. As I dug through my notes to see who stood out the most among those players at a more affordable price, it hit me. When I put players in the Playbook, I am thinking primarily about cash lineup plays -- guys with a high floor who I could conceivably put into my core-group and build a lineup around. After those players, I would mix in a handful of guys who had boatloads of upside and were in soft match-ups, but I wasn’t paying as much attention to their salary as I should have. And that's where the Dart Board came into play.

Every now and then, when building lineups while using particular stacks, you need some salary relief. You need a guy who may not be minimally priced, but low enough to give you the flexibility you need to get someone like Justin Jefferson or Travis Kelce in as a flex play or something. Occasionally you may see a min-priced QB or TE in here, but more often than not, this space is reserved for running backs and wide receivers who are below $6,000 on FanDuel or $5,000 or lower on DraftKings.

Now while we call this a Dart Board, keep in mind that every player has been carefully researched. We're not up here picking players all willy-nilly, desperately hoping they hit. We're looking for the cheapest bargains possible who still have the strongest potential to give you at least a 3-5x return on what you pay.

All set? Great. Let's get to it and while you do, maybe give a listen to this week's NFL DFS Podcast with me & Jon Impemba
