Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone who is a part of our FAmily on this Christmas Day! We got a full day of some surprises yesterday, and it lived up to the holiday hype. The Miami Dolphins knocked off the Dallas Cowboys, the New England Patriots beat the Denver Broncos, and like always, we had several injuries and upsets. We continue the week with three more games today, so let’s look at some of my favorite picks for today.

As you may know, we’ve joined forces with our friends at Sleeper to introduce their Sleeper Picks feature. With Sleeper Picks, you can choose from a variety of players and stat lines, choose whether that player will have more or less than the given stat, and combine your picks for a chance to increase your payout. If you build enough, you can even multiply your entry up to 100x! We went two of three again yesterday due to a few yards from David Njoku, but we’re looking to have a better day today.

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

Hurts has done well this season from a fantasy perspective, but it’s not because he’s throwing a ton of touchdowns. To the contrary, he’s only thrown for multiple touchdowns in five of his 14 games played so far this year. Today, he gets another matchup against a New York Giants team that they should be able to walk all over, so I don’t expect a ton of passing in this game. It seems that Hurts only throws when they’re behind or struggling, and as a 12-point favorite in this game, I don’t expect much from him through the air.

Pick: Jalen Hurts less than 1.5 passing touchdowns (1.65x)

Tommy DeVito, New York Giants

Going to the other side of this matchup, I’m looking at Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito. He’s taken the city of New York, and even the nation, by storm, and even though he’s not putting up super mega-star numbers, he has hit this mark in all but two of the games he’s started. DeVito also gets tight end Darren Waller back, giving him another weapon, and the Eagles have struggled against the pass. I like DeVito to give the Eagles problems and score at least one touchdown through the air.

Tommy DeVito more than .5 passing touchdowns (1.37x)

Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers

While the season started out with Brandon Aiyuk as the number one receiver in San Francisco, Samuel has emerged as of late with three of his last four games exploding past this mark. Last week against the Arizona Cardinals, the team just didn’t really need him, as their offense ran through Christian McCaffrey, but up against the Baltimore Ravens, they’re going to have to incorporate several different elements to get the win. Although the Ravens are only allowing 185.7 passing yards per game, expect Samuel to be a large part of that.

Pick: Deebo Samuel more than 58.5 receiving yards (1.72x)
