Yesterday’s slate may have started off slow in the early window, but we got plenty of action in the afternoon games, including an overtime game between the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles as well as a strange evacuation notice at RedZone headquarters. Injuries are also rearing their ugly heads throughout the league, taking out some of our favorite players, but we charge ahead with the last game of Week 12.

As you may know, we’ve joined forces with our friends at Sleeper to introduce their Sleeper Picks feature. With Sleeper Picks, you can choose from a variety of players and stat lines, choose whether that player will have more or less than the given stat, and combine your picks for a chance to increase your payout. If you build enough, you can even multiply your entry up to 100x! So let’s get started and jump into some of my favorite Sleeper Picks for Week 12 of the NFL season.

NFL Sleeper Top Picks & Plays for Monday Night Football

Khalil Herbert, Chicago Bears

Admittedly, things were slow for Herbert returning from injury last week, but they did face a difficult matchup against the Detroit Lions. While the Minnesota Vikings have improved on defense since the beginning of the season, they are still susceptible to giving up plays through the air, especially to running backs. They have given up 5.36 receptions to the running back per game, and with D’Onta Foreman already ruled out, Herbert should be the main back in rotation. While all of these passes may not be designed, the Vikings pass rush should pressure Fields enough so that he has to dump the ball off to Herbert a couple of times, and with an average of 7.42 yards per reception on the season, he should be able to hit this mark.

Pick: Khalil Herbert more than 10.5 receiving yards (1.81x)

Ty Chandler, Minnesota Vikings

It may be Alexander Mattison’s backfield as far as snaps go, but we’re definitely not counting out Ty Chandler. Since Cam Akers suffered an Achilles injury, Chandler has been an imposing presence in the backfield, seeing over 43 yards in both games and seeing 25 carries in two games. The Bears run defense has not been good on the season, and although they’ve improved marginally since they traded for Montez Sweat, they’re still allowing the 12th-most fantasy points to the running back position. If Chandler can average close to where he’s been on the season with his snap share, a few breakaway runs aren’t out of the question.

Pick: Ty Chandler more than 32.5 rushing yards (1.75x)

Justin Fields, Chicago Bears

Justin Fields is a fantasy darling, but most of that production has come through his legs and not through the air. He’s only thrown over this mark twice out of seven games, and with Khalil Herbert back and healthy, Chicago will likely rely on their ground game once again. This isn’t to say that Fields won’t be able to score on his own on the ground, but passing for more than two is a little lofty, as evidenced by the multiplier on this pick. If they get close to the red zone, expect plenty of designed runs and not a lot of passing. After all, it’s basically DJ Moore and then “everyone else” on this offense.

Pick: Justin Fields less than 1.5 passing touchdowns (1.33x)
