We have a massive 12 game slate for today in the NBA and a lot of current uncertainty around some top players who, if ruled out, would create some very strong value plays to build your lineups around this evening. Let's explore these top options tonight that will help you spend up for those star players!

De'Aaron Fox is currently questionable to play tonight and Davion Mitchell is the likely candidate to start in his place should Fox sit out. Now, I know the matchup against Boston is probably one of the toughest in the NBA right now but Mitchell has shown the ability to score the basketball when given an increased role. We've even seen Mitchell play over 30 minutes in each of the last two games with Fox active. He is under $4,000 on DraftKings and is a solid value option.

The status of Jae Crowder needs to be determined here but with Crowder out of the lineup the other night we saw Torrey Craig with a massive rosters percentage and he broke the slate, finishing with 21 points and 14 rebounds. We've seen this song and dance from Craig already this year when he popped for a similar output when he was playing for the Pacers but what that should indicate is that it is in his bag of tricks. If Crowder sits tonight then Craig has a good matchup against the Bulls.

Shout out to James Grande who just pointed this play out to me while I'm writing this article.  The Blazers are starved for competent play given their injury issues and Kris Dunn has played 20 and 28 minutes in the two games with the team. In those 28 minutes he saw against the Knicks he finished with 13 points, one rebound, seven assists, and one steal. There is an honest argument to be made that he is better than Brandon Williams who is currently their starting guard. At min-price against the Nets, I do like the dart throw.

The dragon was finally unleashed against the Mavericks as he played 36 minutes and finished with 21 points, three rebounds, and four assists. The minutes here are not shocking as he is the starting guard when Irving is out of the lineup but it was great to see the scoring finally come around. We saw last year that Goran Dragic is still an impact player when given the run and he is going to get that right now.

With Doug McDermott out for the season, we saw Josh Richardson start for the Spurs and play 28 minutes against the Thunder. He finished that game with 17 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and one steal. Richardson played 34 and 36 minutes last week in games against the Jazz and Pacers and finished with 23 and 35 fantasy points. If he continues to start it is clear he fits in with his new team and will be involved on both ends of the floor.

Andre Drummond is getting all the glory right now and it is deserved but the reason the minutes haven't really been there is that the Nets are playing Nicolas Claxton 20-to-25 minutes a night right now and he is being very productive, averaging 22.6 fantasy points over the last five games.

The Pacers are going to be without Isaiah Jackson tonight and Goga Bitdze is also questionable to play. Terry Taylor has played 25 and 27 minutes off the bench the last two games for the Pacers and has exceeded 20 fantasy points in both games. With the shortened front-court rotation tonight and the fact that the likely starter in Jalen Smith can be foul-happy, Taylor should see at least 25 minutes again tonight.
